Card Counting is not a good idea for baccarat:

Card counting is the most useless Baccarat strategy of all. This method necessitates you to add and subtract large numbers swiftly to keep track of the house’s edge.  Though you are able to maintain an accurate count, your edge would only be advantageous once every 345 hands.  No casino is going to allow you to stay at a table if you’re only playing 1 in 345 hands. Most of the time the discarded cards are deposited back in the shoe, so there again it is a useless option.
